This block comes in EK’s usual bright orange and black packaging.
Opening reveals the mounting hardware in two packages, the normal screws/nuts/washers package and another with the LGA2011 add on.
Unboxed..notice there isn’t any back-plate included. Not needed for 2011, but that is one of the savings areas.
And the unwrapping
Comes with all the bare minimum hardware bits although users of 775/1155 may be feeling like they are missing out not getting a back-plate, that’s not an issue for LGA2011 and it does comes with the special LGA2011 studs.
Would this do good on a I5-2500K?
